New York City Walking Tours - New York Up, Down & Sideways: The Empire State Building Walking Tour
If you feel there’s just too much to see in New York and not enough time, then this is the tour for you. Take a journey through the heights and sights of the world’s greatest city that starts with an exciting virtual tour on the NY SKYRIDE. Afterwards, we lead you on a guided tour of the city from the cloud-level observation deck of the Empire State Building. As seen in movies such as “King Kong,” “Sleepless in Seattle,” and “The Muppets Take Manhattan,” the Empire State Building is one of the most admired symbols of New York City.
From there, you head back onto the ground, 102 stories below, for an escorted stroll through the most iconic NYC sights. Your guide will walk you through Herald Square and by Macy’s department store. In the Fashion District, you will see where Calvin Klein, Oscar de la Renta, Ralph Lauren, and Tom Ford all have design studios, offices, and showrooms. Finally, the tour takes you up the “Great White Way” to Times Square, where you will learn about the name, the area’s history, and why it has become so popular on New Year’s Eve.
