Experience numerous sites and stories that were a special part of Philadelphia as Washington, Jefferson, Hancock, Adams, Franklin, Lee, and so many others worked a course to the birth of a new nation.

This tour gives the opportunity to also learn about lesser known places and people such as Ben Bache, editor of the radical American Aurora, and grandson of Benjamin Franklin.
Let us share with you some of the more personal history of Philadelphia so you can “Go Home with a Story”.
Trail to Independence includes:
• Independence Hall, where the great trials of the new nation took place.
• Washington Square, where many early patriots lay in unmarked graves.
• First and Second Bank of the United States.
• American Aurora, offices of the radical republican
American newspaper.
• Carpenters Hall, where the Continental Congress
met for the rst time in 1774.
• Ben Franklin Court, home of the old patriot himself.
• The Franklin Post Office, the only post office that
does not fly an American flag.
• Christ Church, were many a great patriot is buried, including some of the signers of the Declaration Of Independence.
• The Betsy Ross House, home of the supposed
creator of the American Flag.
• Grave of Benjamin Franklin, the man who,
besides his inventions, put Philadelphia on the
map.
